Health Care Classes
You are invited to attend our Health Care Classes which occur on the first Thursday of every month from 6.00pm at Roughan Chiropractic.
Topics will include:
- What does your spine have to do with your nerve system?
- How does my nerve system affect my health?
- Defining our understanding of health as greater than the absence of disease
- The wonders of our immune system and how it positively responds to how we breathe, stay active, meditate, or laugh
- The triad of health - balancing the structural elements of our body to the emotional elements, to the chemical/nutritional elements to achieve whole health
- Ranges of care given to your presenting health issue
- Get the KNOWLEDGE you need about the uniqueness of Chiropractic and what YOU can do to help YOUR spine
At this class we spend about 20 minutes giving a brief presentation about how to get the maximum benefit and best value from your chiropractic care and how to care for your spine on a day to day basis. We also include Straighten Up NZ stretches which only take 3 minutes and are a fantastic way to prevent spinal decay - you feel fantastic afterwards!
Our Health Care Class then continues with our Nutrition Seminar Series based on Dr Simon Roughan's 12 Healthy Habits. Our upcoming dates and topics are:

Know Your Blood Type
Due to the overwhelming response we received last year this Health Care class topic is back by popular demand. Seats are limited and registration is essential so be sure to enrol now!!
We are also bringing back our Blood Type Challenge which is now new and improved with our new facility of Blood Type Analysis - registration for the challenge will only be available on the night of our Health Care class so don't miss out!
These classes are very audience driven so please bring along family and friends and any questions you may have. Best of all, as a valued patient and practice member the class is completely free!
