Everyone thought I was crazy throwing in a career in Residential Psychiatric Care for Adolescents, when I sought the drug-free approach of Chiropractic. I wanted to belong to a profession that really helped people, a profession in fact which noninvasively liberates nerve interference. My training in psychology and psychiatric counselling was very rewarding. But the domineering influence of the pharmaceutical drug companies in sedating and tranquilising every patient caused me to question my ethical role in this health model.

"No way was I going to do the same thing as my Dad!!" was always my attitude growing up. It is interesting that sometimes the very things we avoid the most is in fact what we end up doing once we have traveled our own journey.
