Session Structure

  1. Meet and Greet
  2. Client History Form (on first visit) to help assist your goals and treatment plan
  3. (Re) Assessment: Information gathered through observation, palpation, range of movement, exercises, postural assessment and client feedback
  4. Action and Analysis: After agreement on treatment plan the therapist will provide a spa towel for draping and leave you to undress while she washes her hands
  5. MASSAGE
  6. Plan and Post-Care: Five minutes at the end will be left to allow you to dress and give time to plan for future treatment (reassess, home care advice, stretches and exercises)
After Massage
  1. WATER - Glass of water every waking hour for the next 24 hours will help flush toxins (not tea or coffee)
  2. Keep oils/waxes on for at least 2 hours to gain therapeutic effect
  3. KEEP WARM - Your metabolism is lowered and you will feel cold
  4. No alcohol for approximately 12 hours (it can interact with the oils and wastes)
  5. If you feel sore:
    - Warm bath with Epsom salts
    - Ice pack or warm wheat pack on muscles
    - Antiflam/Arnica
  6. Keep a quiet time to relax
  7. Make sure you are alert and properly awake before driving
