Our chiropractic clinic was founded on the West Coast in 1981. Chiropractor Dr Simon Roughan and his chiropractic team have provided our communities with outstanding natural healthcare services for decades. In January 1993, we moved to our beautiful character-rich practice at 316 Riccarton Road, where we have served the Christchurch area and the wider South Island community for more than 30 years.
We honour and respect each individual’s natural immunity and ability to heal, supporting and guiding that process using a holistic, hands-on approach.

Delivering quality chiropractic care to the Christchurch and West Coast areas as he has for so many years, chiropractic is now just a way of life for Dr Simon and his family. Everyone in his family is adjusted regularly to keep their bodies healthy physically, mentally and emotionally.
Dr Simon has used the quote, ‘A healer is not someone you go to in order to be healed, but someone who triggers your own ability to heal yourself’, as his guide throughout his career. He wants Roughan Chiropractic to be more than just a chiropractic office. He wants his patients to believe in, have hope, and feel comfortable sharing their healthcare needs and life decisions for themselves and their children.
